Care Guide
You will be surprised how easy it is to take care of dried and preserved flowers!

Once your flowers arrived
Carefully unwrap your arrangement and remove the tissue paper, but keep the ESMÉ LABS ribbon. Gently fluff up the bouquet with your hands if needed. Minor shedding may occur at this stage, which is completely normal.

Placing in a vase
Place the bouquet in a vase without water. If the vase is too small, trim the stems to the desired length, but do so gradually to avoid cutting too much. If the vase is too large, try adding a piece of tissue paper at the bottom for better support. You can choose to keep or remove the ESMÉ LABS ribbon — the bouquet will remain tied either way.
-
Keep Away from Candles
Avoid placing dried flowers near open flames, as they are flammable. This is especially important if you have pets or children at home.
-
Avoid Excess Humidity
High humidity can cause dried and preserved flowers to lose their shape or deteriorate over time. Keep them in a dry environment for long-lasting beauty.
-
Keep Away from Sunlight
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and outdoor conditions can cause dried and preserved flowers to fade, dry out, or become brittle.

How Long Will Dried & Preserved Flowers Stay Fresh?
With proper care, dried and preserved flowers can maintain their beauty for at least a year — often even longer. Unlike fresh flowers, they require no water and minimal upkeep, making them a long-lasting and sustainable choice for your space.
Cleaning & Maintenance
-
Dusting
Gently remove dust using a feather duster, a soft brush, or a cool hairdryer on low speed. Avoid using water or wet wipes.
-
Refreshing the Bouquet
If the arrangement loses volume, lightly shake it or carefully reposition the stems to restore its shape.
-
Handling with Care
Dried flowers are delicate, so minimize touching them to prevent breakage or shedding.
